Restylane Perlane Facial Fillers

Restylane® and Perlane® are safe and natural cosmetic dermal fillers which help restore volume and fullness to the skin. This multi-use product line corrects moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds of all types, from the fine lines around the lips to deep nasolabial folds.

The highly versatile filler, Restylane® is also used to increase fullness and enhance the lips, define the lip line, fill scars and plump up facial areas that have lost their youthful appearance. Dermal fillers are also commonly used to fill in areas that have a “sunken” appearance such as the area under the eyes that become hollow, creating a worn-out, tired look.

Lasting up to twice as long as collagen, and in many cases even longer, treatments are typically scheduled only twice a year.  During your treatment, a topical numbing cream is applied to the area. The filler is then injected into the dermis in small amounts with a tiny needle to create a more comfortable treatment for the patient.   The treatment typically lasts between 45-60 minutes. The result is instantaneous, producing a long-lasting, natural enhancement, gentle and safe to the skin.

Restylane® and Perlane® have received FDA approval for correction of the nasolabial folds. The newest forms of Restylane-L® and Perlane-L® contain a small amount of lidocaine a common anesthetic to help ease the discomfort of the injection.
